Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has ruled out any possibility of furthering dialogue with the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party.
According to Daily Post, he stated this during a media chat with journalists on Thursday in Port Harcourt.
While discussing his lingering feud with Atiku Abubakar, he stated that he is not open to further talks with Atiku as the time frame for resolving the grievances is “over” and he is “not ready to sit down with anybody again”.
“No, we can’t do that; it’s over! We have said it and there is nothing anybody can do about it now,” he said.
“They believe they can win the election. I am not ready to sit down with anybody again.”
Wike is part of the G-5 governors who are currently seeking the removal of the PDP national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu.
Other members of the G-5 governors are, Seyi Makinde of Oyo, Samuel Ortom of Benue, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia, and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu.
