2023: Osun INEC backs groups’ call for free, fair elections

The Osun State Independent National Electoral Commission has declared support for all the groups working towards free, fair and successful election in the forthcoming general elections in the country.

The Resident Electroral Commissioner of the State, Dr Mutiu Olaleke Agboke stated this while receiving a group, known as #BeADecider in his Office on Friday.

The Executive Director of the group, Opeyemi Oladimeji stated that the motive for the visit was know the level of preparation, the commission has put in place for the election and to also make the intention of the group to the commission in order to work together for a successful election.

Agboke, while expression his pleasure to have the group in his office, also gave an assurance for a better working relationship with the group, in order to achieve their set objective of ensuring participation in the coming elections.

#BeADeciser is a non governmental organisation championing the cause of educating, campaigning and sensitising the people towards the realisation of peaceful election in Nigeria.
