Adamawa gov bags budget transparency award

The Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has been honoured with the National Budget Transparency Survey Awards.

Disclosing this via a post on his X handle on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, Fintiri noted that he was honoured with 1st place in the award in the Northeast and 3rd place in the award at the national level.

 

The governor, however, expressed commitment to capturing budgets that reflect the needs of the people, while maintaining a vigilant approach to managing state resources.

 

He further expressed profound gratitude for being honoured with such awards.

 

He said: “Today, I am honoured to receive an award for 1st Place in the National Budget Transparency Survey in the North East and 3rd in Nigeria in the 2022 Survey.

 

“We remain committed to capturing budgets that reflect the needs of our people while maintaining a vigilant approach to managing state resources.”
