The leader of the pan-Yoruba organisation Afenifere, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, has cautioned the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, against meddling in the affairs of the organisation.

Makinde, had on Tuesday, attended a meeting of Afenifere leaders in Ibadan, where he declared that some frontline leaders in the organisation had decided to resolve the differences between the two leaders of the group, Pa Reuben Fasoranti and Pa Adebanjo.

However, Adebanjo, in a recent statement, said there was nothing to reconcile between him and Fasoranti because there was no rift between them.

He warned Makinde not to “interfere” in issues he does not know about.

“I have no dispute with Baba Fasoranti. He should not be one of those who want to split Afenifere, and that is not what I stand for,” he said.
