The Imo State House of Assembly on Monday impeached its speaker, Kennedy Ibe, replacing him with Emeka Nduka.
Reports revealed that the ousted Ibe will be the fourth speaker to be ejected by the assembly in three years.
According to The PUNCH, the newly sworn-in speaker, Nduka represents the Ehime Mbano State Constituency.
He was congratulated by the Deputy Speaker, Amara Iwuanyanwu, the Majority Leader, Kanayo Onyemaechi of Owerri West, and ranking lawmaker, Ngozi Obiefule of Isu State Constituency.
