The Young Progressive Party in Essien Udim Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, has dismantled its political apparatus in the bid to support the All Progressives Congress Senatorial candidate, Chief Godswil Akpabio.

The former governor of the state, Chief Godswil Akpabio, was unanimously endorsed as their senatorial candidate for the election on Saturday at a stakeholders meeting that included Party Leaders, Chapter Executives of AkwaubokAbasi campaign council, OBA/AMBA chapter executive, YPP chapter Executive, YPP Units, and ward agents.

laying the groundwork for the acceptance, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Akpan, Chairman of the AkwaubokAbasi Campaign Council in the Essien Udim Chapter, commended His Excellency, Senator Godswil Akpabio’s record of exceptional transformation and urged everyone to cast a large number of votes on Saturday for the exceptional transformer.

Moreover, Sir Emem Akpabio, who is the State Chairman, AkwaubokAbasi Campaign Council, commended the YPP family in Essien Udim for resolving to support their own as the next Senator representing Akwa Ibom North West in the Red Chambers.
