A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (name undisclosed) has written a petition seeking the disqualification of the party’s National Leader, Bola Tinubu, in the presidential screening of the party.

The petition dated May 17 from the member with registration number KN/TRN/38/08417 asked the Odigie-Oyegun committee to critically scrutinize all credentials submitted by Tinubu to prevent a recurrence of a certificate forgery.

The chieftain said deputy governorship candidate Biobarakuma Degi-Eriemienyo in the November 16, 2019 election of Bayelsa State made the party lose the state to the opposition party, PDP, due to certificate forgery.

Attaching various documents to back his claim against the Tinubu, the petition cautioned the screening committee.

The APC had begun the screening exercise of its presidential aspirant, and Tinubu was screened on Monday, Premium Politics can confirm.

APC had maintained secrecy regarding its screening exercise, barring journalist from the venue.
