A 30-year-old man, Ternenge Peter arrested for destroying the Peoples Democratic Party billboard in Wurukum, Makurdi has been sentenced to 30-Days community service.

According to Daily Post, a Makurdi Chief Magistrate Court presided over by Mrs. Kadoon Gbasha gave the judgment.

Peter was found destroying the PDP billboard mounted at the Wurukum roundabout on Monday morning.

He was, however, warned that a default on the terms of the community service will earn him two months.

The Magistrate said the community service will be carried out at the Court premises for 30 working days from 9 am to 2 pm each day.

She warned youths in the state to desist from alcoholism and mischief and engage themselves in useful ventures to secure their future.
