Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), Tuesday met with governors elected via the platform of the All Progressives Congress, at the State House, Abuja.
Details of the meeting are still sketchy as of press time, but it may not be unconnected to how to ensure the victory of the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, in 2023.
According to The PUNCH, those present at the meeting include Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun, Dr. Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti, Abubakar Bello of Niger, Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe, Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa and Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State, Dr. Eric Igwe amongst others.
