Few hours to the end of his tenure as president, the outgoing president, Major General, Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), through the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika on Monday constituted the boards of aviation agencies.

According to The PUNCH, this was contained in a statement made available by the Head Press and Public Relations of the ministry, Oluseyi Odutayo.

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, the Nigerian Meteorological Agency, and the recently established Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau are among the agencies involved.

The NCAA is chaired by Lai Are, with two institutional members from the Ministries of Aviation and Defence, according to the release.

FAAN would be chaired by Capt. Fola Akinkuotu, with five institutional members from the Ministries of Aviation, Defence, Justice, and Tourism, as well as NCAT, and members Capt. Mukhtar Aminu and Chris Aligbe.
