Mocking the security Police via his X handle, Charly Boy asked the Secret Police to arrest Obidients in Edo State who came out en masse to show their love and support for the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, in Edo State on Monday.

Premium Politics reported that the LP flag bearer was in the state on Monday, August 21, 2023, to hundreds of party members and supporters, for a mega rally ahead of the local government elections in Edo State.

The Former Anambra State Governor made it known during the rally, that the party remained focused on its plans for a better Nigeria, noting that the merging rumour and other rumours in the public places, were assumptions.

However, in various viral videos shared online, a mammoth crowd of LP members and supporters were seen on the street of Edo, trooping out en mass, to welcome the former governor of Anambra State.

Reacting to the massive support Obi received from Edo residents, Charly Boy praised Obidients for coming out en masse.

He however went on to mock the DSS to go and arrest those who showed their solidarity towards Obi, during the rally.

“My people for Edo, begin I just wan hail una to say well done. I no know to say una craze for Obi matter passes my own, I bow for una. Na our President be dis, any other person na counterfeit.

“As DSS don turn another tin, oya make dem go arrest people wey common to welcome der Presido.”
