Former Governor of Plateau State, Senator Jonah Jang, has been discharged and acquitted of alleged misappropriation of the sum of N6.3 billion belonging to the state.

A former cashier in the office of the Secretary to the Plateau State Government, Mr Yusuf Pam, was also discharged by the court.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has accused Jang of allegedly mismanaging public funds to the tune of N6.3 billion.

The court presided over by Justice Christy Dabup discharged and acquitted the Plateau state former governor and his alleged accomplice, Pam.
