Ekiti 2022: PDP’s Bisi Kolawole wins polling unit

The Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in Ekiti State, Bisi Kolawole, won his ward 8, Unit 1, Efon Alaye, in the Efon Local Government Area, where he earlier cast his vote.

INEC ad-hoc staff, after counting the votes, declared the PDP candidate the winner of his polling unit, having polled 98 votes.

The APC candidate, Biodun Oyebanji, polled 13 votes, Labour Party got one vote, while Social Democratic Party got votes. Two void votes were recorded, while the total vote cast was 116.

Votes are still being counted as the race to elect the next governor of the state is coming to a close, with several polling units declaring the results of election.
