Few days to the general elections scheduled to hold on Saturday, February 25, the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has begun to garner more support as a group known as Almagamation of Fulani Group endorsed him.

The groups, consist of Islamic scholars and preachers under the auspices of Hoorejo Tabital Pulaaku and Fulbe Ulama ensure that the APC candidate and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima emerge winners at the polls on Saturday.

They presented a Certificate of Endorsement to Tinubu through the Kao State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje. The Nation reports.

Others in the amalgamation are Fulani Ardos, community leaders and scholars from the 36 states of the federation, and the Federal Capital Territory.

The endorsement took place at a consultative meeting involving all the Fulani groups at Coronation Hall, Government House, Kano.

It was reported that the endorsement letter was handed over to Ganduje by former Bauch State governor/National President of Hoojero Tabital Pulaaku, Malam Isa Yuguda and Chairman, Initiative for Educating Nigerian Fulbe Pilgrims, Mallam Haruna Bin Musa.

They urged the Kano chief executive officer to convey their letter to the APC presidential candidate.

Commending on the Tinubu/Shettima ticket as in the interest of the people and the nation, Yuguda said “the amalgamation of Fulani groups admires Tinubu’s leadership qualities, recalling his laudable achievements, particularly in economy and infrastructure, when he served as governor of Lagos State”.

Yugusda thanked Ganduje for his support to the plight of Fulani across the country, saying “Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is one of the governors in the forefront of supporting Fulani people. Ganduje’s choice for the 2023 presidency is equally our choice.”

The governor also expressed his gratitude to members of the amalgamated group for their critical understanding of the national politics and their plan for national development.

He said, “It is your (amalgamation) understanding of national politics that moulded your support for our competent presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu -the Jagaban of Nigeria.

“This endorsement is the only answer for our development, as Fulani, and for the development of our dear nation.

“We assure you that transformation in our livestock system will become a reality when our candidate, Tinubu becomes president.”

The Kano governor stresses that things would change for better when Tinubu gets the mandate in the forthcoming election.

“All parts of the country would be developed,” he said.

The governor vowed to deliver their message, adding, “We recently organized a National Livestock Conference in Abuja and raised a blueprint.

“I am assuring you that when Tinubu becomes our president he will organise Conference of All Fulani in Nigeria.”

He said,, the Fulani will not regret electing Tinubu as president.

He pointed out Tinubu’s plan to transforming the lives of the people.
