Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke on Wednesday sworn-in 25 commissioners.
As per a statement issued by Olawale Rasheed, the spokesperson, the governor expressed his congratulations to the newly appointed individuals and emphasised the importance of carrying out their responsibilities with diligence.
The governor urged the commissioners and other appointees to consistently prioritise active listening to the concerns of the populace and diligently strive to address the diverse array of challenges faced by the community.
He also cautioned them that their lack of discipline would not be tolerated by his administration.
He added: “Our team of commissioners is, therefore, a product of stakeholders’ choices. It is important to affirm that my preoccupation throughout the process was a merit-based pathway. This passion of mine for putting together qualified hands was reflected in the template the party applied throughout.”
