Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State will swear in the newly appointed 26 Commissioners-designate, as members of the State Executive Council, on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Kingsley Emu, on Saturday.
Dr Emu noted that the ceremony would take place at the Event Centre, Okpanam Road, Asaba, the state capital.
It would be recalled the new commissioner designate was screened by the state House of Assembly, two weeks ago.
However, the swearing-in ceremony is coming after their appointments were approved.
