Only one hour after the results of the Kano state governorship election were announced, some unidentified thugs set fire to the home of renowned political musician, Dauda Kahutu Rarara.

An eyewitness and local resident, Yusuf Abdullahi, claimed that the thugs broke inside the residence and started burning down valuables.

However, minutes later, it was reported that the police had dispersed the thugs, but the fire is still blazing and the fire department has not yet arrived at the location.

“All you can hear coming from the house are explosions, and the fire is still destroying things.”
