Gov polls: Kate Henshaw slams Lagos LG chair over alleged intimidation

Nollywood star, Kate Henshaw, has lashed out at the local government chairman of Eti Osa local government area of Lagos State, Rashedat Adu, for intimidating voters at her polling unit.

In a video shared by Henshaw through her Twitter account, the actress alleged that Adu came with men who intimidated her at the polling unit.

She also claimed that Adu made attempt to rile up voters at the polling units.

“This video is calling out the Chairman of Eti Osa local government area, Rashedat Adu. You came here this morning to rile the people of this local government against me and I don’t what I did to you.

“Maybe because you think I do not hear Yoruba, one of your men said they will slap me…,” She stated.

Also in a post which accompanied the uploaded video, she wrote, “No one can intimidate me!!I have every right to carry out my duty.

“No amount of abuse or vitriol will work..You are a public servant!! I have taken note of all your thugs!!”.
