A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, in Delta State, Sylvester Efeurhobo, has reportedly killed by yet-to-be-identified gunmen.
According to The PUNCH, assailants reportedly raided the APC stalwart’s rural home in Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government Area, and shot him to death.
It was gathered that the deceased served as the chairman of the Achievers Group in Agbarho, a local APC support group.
He was described as “a dedicated party faithful, a brother and father, generous to the bone”.
Since then, party supporters in the neighborhood have urged law enforcement, in particular, to “weed out the hooligans and guarantee that justice takes its proper course in the matter.”
