The popular social-political activist, Deji Adeyanju has attributed the victory of the President–elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in the last presidential, to the political differences between the Presidential candidates of the Labour Party, New Nigeria People’s Party and the Peoples Democratic Party, Peter Obi, Rabiu Kwankwaso and their political boss, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar respectfully.

Adeyanju, while stating this, said Kwankwaso and Obi made Tinubu president-elect by splitting the votes that belong to Atiku everywhere, across the country.

Stating this through his Twitter handle, , Adeyanju said Obi went further by exploring religious volatility, using religious bigotry to help Tinubu achieve his long time political ambition.

“Tinubu will be president in 8 days. Kwankwaso and Obi made it possible by reducing their oga, Atiku’s votes.

“Obi took his own to the extreme by even using religious bigotry to do so,” Adeyanju wrote.

It would be recalled that Kwankwaso and Obi were both strong members of the PDP, before following their individual dreams, through another political platforms.

While Kwankwaso went to built the NNPP, Obi who contested the 2019 presidential election, as a vice presidential candidate to Atiku, under the PDP platform, left the party few months to the 2023 election, to contest as a presidential candidate of the LP, which would later gave birth to a movement called, Obedients.

However, the three presidential candidates lost to Tinubu, who had the support of virtually all the loyalists of his party, as well as some aggrieved members from the PDP, especially the G5 governors, who opposed Atiku’s candidacy.

Meanwhile, Atiku and Obi have approached the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, to challenge the victory of Tinubu, at the February 25 election, while Kwankwaso held a meeting with the incoming president, to work on cooperation with his government.
