The Vice Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Yusuff Datti Baba-Ahmed has stated that he is ashamed of the remime of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) as they have failed to deliver on their promises to end insecurity in Nigeria.

Insecurity has peaked to an alarming rate in the country with several attacks by bandits, Boko Haram insurgents, and herdsmen.

Few months ago, a Catholic church in Owo, Ondo State was attacked by gunmen who killed over 40 worshippers, also the Kuje Correctional Center in Abuja was attacked by members of the ISWAP terrorists, freeing several inmates in the process.

Baba-Ahmed while responding to the question of how he and Peter Obi would put an end to the rising state of insecurity in Nigeria on Channels TV on Monday said the LP has a plan which they are not ready to dilvuge yet.

He also faulted the failure of Buhari and the All Progressives Congress in the fight against insecurity.

According to him, the present administration is known for talk without results which he and Obi are hoping to change the narrative by delivering the expected result of elected come 2023.

“We do have a solution, my answer is that we do just take it, take it as that, it’s better not to dilvuge.

“What’s is it in that past that Buhari and APC has not said about ending insecurity.

“Are Nigerians not tired about hearing them talk with no results, Peter Obi and I are different mix of these kind of politicians.

“That’s is why we are seeking this opportunity. The importance of talking has been destroyed by this administration and I feel ashamed for this administration.” he stated
