President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday, joined a new social media platform ‘thread,’ in grand style.
Thread is a new platform owned by Meta, founded by Mark Zuckerberg.
The platform has garnered over 10 million subscribers, following some measures introduced by Elon Musk of Twitter, which was discouraging to the users.
It would be recalled that President Tinubu was also affected by the Tweeter measure, which made him lose his blue badge.
However, the president wasted no time in joining millions of users by making his presence known on Threads, as he shared his inaugural video as Nigerian president, which he captioned: “My fellow Tailors, Idan has landed.”
He has, however, garnered a remarkable number of followers, which is now over 28,000, within the short period he joined the platform.
