Earlier on Tuesday, a witness, Bonet Gwaza, appeared before the court and presented the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System report for elections held across the 23 Local Government areas in the state.

Premium Politics had reported that among other exhibits presented to the court is the Independent National Electoral Commission form EC40G for the Igabi West constituency.

Gwaza, who is said to be a system analyst working with the INEC, also presented to Justice Victor Oviawie-led panel the voters’ register for Kauru, Lere, Zaria and Igabi local government areas.

However, the presentation of the exhibits to the tribunal by the representative of INEC followed the subpoena application filed by the legal team of the 1st and 2nd petitioners, the Peoples Democratic Party, and its governorship candidate, Isa Ashiru.

Having received submissions from those concerned, the court subsequently adjourned the hearing to today for the continuation of cross-examination of the witness.
