This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs in the state, Nasiru Mu’azu, on Sunday.

Muazu explained in the statement that the ban will be effective from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. every day in all the affected LGAs in the state.

According to the statement, the LGAs, which are fully affected by banditry and other related crimes, will be affected by the order.

The statement reads partly: “Among them (local government areas) are Sabuwa, Dandume, Funtua, Faskari, and Bakori; Kankara, Danja, Kafur, Malumfashi, Musawa, Matazu, Danmusa, Safana, Dutsinma, Kurfi, Charanchi, Jibia, Batsari, and Kankia.”

The Commissioner, however, explained that members of the public should understand that the purpose of the order is to restore permanent peace in the affected areas being tortured by the bandits.
