Recall that, Tinubu had sent a 47-man list to the Senate through his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila.

The ministerial list comprising of former governors and technocrats was, however, void of strong APC chieftains like Keyamo and Femi Fani-Kayode.

The Senate, on Monday, began the screening exercise for the nominees.

However, in a dramatic turn of events, one of the nominees, Maryam Shetty, on Friday, announced her withdrawal by Tinubu via her X handle.

It was gathered that the President had instead nominated Keyamo.

Taking to his X handle after the news, Keyamo wrote, “He’s a miracle-working God💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻. He’s a miracle-working God💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻He’s the Alpha and Omega, 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻He’s a miracle-working God!💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻.”
