Honourable Yacoob Ekundayo Alebiosu has officially assumed duties as the new Commissioner for the Ministry of Waterfront Infrastructure Development in Lagos State.
Alebiosu was sworn-in by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday.
Addressing the management and Staff during a warm reception organised for him, the Commissioner assured everyone of a new dawn, promising to build on the legacy of his predecessor to improve the work environment towards achieving the mandate of the Ministry.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Lagos State government on its website on Saturday.
According to the statement, the commissioner solicited the support of all members of staff and emphasised that their cooperation is essential to achieve set goals and targets.
In his remarks, the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Kehinde Gbajumo congratulated him on his new appointment and prayed for a successful tenure, assuring him of the cooperation of members of staff which is paramount to the smooth running of the Ministry.
