Governor of Ekiti State, Fayemi Kayode, has visited Kano State to lobby the delegates for votes towards the forthcoming presidential primary of the All Progressive Congress.

Fayemi on his official Twitter account on Friday, said was delighted to engage the leadership and major stakeholders of the party in Kano.

The presidential hopeful said, ”It was a real delight to engage the leadership and critical stakeholders of our great party in Kano State and to listen to their rich perspectives on the power of transformational leadership and the need for tolerance, equity, fairness and justice in our dear country.

”My candidature is premised on a shared vision and commitment to keep the ideals of the national agenda high on the radar, provide citizens with a genuine basis for hope that better days lie ahead, and courageously undertake reforms for national advancement and prosperity

”May we have the courage and the conviction to instill unity, equity and justice and make Nigeria work for all of us.”

Premium Politics had earlier reported that the APC presidential aspirant said consensus arrangement was not undemocratic but he would prefer competition.
