The President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been hosted at a State Banquet by the President of France, Emmanuel Banquet and his wife, Brigitte Macron, on Thursday night.

Tinubu who arrived France on Tuesday, for a two-day summit of New Global Financial Pact in Paris, was hosted alongside some other world leaders and important personalities.

 

Stating this through his official Twitter handle on Friday morning, Tinubu revealed that he had a great time during the banquet.

 

“I had a great time with other Heads of State and important dignitaries at the State Banquet hosted by President Emmanuel Macron in Paris, France, this evening.

 

“President Macron and his wife, First Lady Brigitte Macron were both gracious and warm, making the event a very pleasant experience,” Tinubu wrote.

 

Mr Tinubu who attended the summit as his first official travel since he was inaugurated on May 29, 2023, will return to Nigeria on Saturday.

 

He was accompanied by members of the Presidential Policy Advisory Council and Senior Government Officials.
