Social media influencer and a supporter of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, Reno Omokri, has ridiculed the former Director General of the Labour Party presidential campaign council PCC, Dr. Doyin Okupe, following his prison sentence.

Okupe was sentenced to prison on Monday by Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu of the Federal High Court in Abuja, bordering on 26 count charges that contravenes the Money Laundering Act.

Okupe who was also an ex-aide to the ex-president Jonathan, as was Omokri, was sentenced to two years imprisonment or an option of N500, 000 fine on each of the charges he was found guilty.

Omokri, soon after the sentence, shared a video on his Twitter handle tagged: “Video of Doyin Okupe Looking Humble After His Conviction” to mock the politician.

Okupe’s lawyer was heard saying ‘’give him space, if he is not able to sort out himself by 4:30 then you can take him.’’
