Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday visited the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress,  Bola Tinubu following his reported victory at the just concluded presidential election.

This was disclosed on Tuesday evening by an APC Chieftain, Adamu Garba, through his official Twitter account where he shared photos of the visit.

“Tinubu received congratulatory visits from African Union Observers Mission under the leadership of former Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta, Former Ghanaian President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan. It’s happening guys, it is all well done!”, he tweeted.

Tinubu, who is the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress defeated Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi of the Labour Party.

While reasons for the visit is yet to be revealed, it’s been speculated that the former president was in Lagos to congratulate Tinubu on his emergence as the next president of the nation.
