The presidential election held in Plateau State has been won by Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

The LP candidate defeated his closest competitors, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress and Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic party, by receiving the most votes cast in the election, according to the results summary released by the State Collation Officer, Professor Shehu Abdulrahman.

Prof. Abdulrahman stated that the LP candidate received 466,272 votes, the APC candidate received 307,195 votes, and the PDP candidate received 243,808.

According to the announced results, the PDP’s nominee finished third and the APC’s candidate second.
