The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, has won the Uruan and Ikono Local Government Areas of Akwa Ibom state in the presidential election conducted on Saturday.

Tinubu polled 5,182 to defeat his counterparts: Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, who polled 4,733 votes, Peter Obi of the Labour Party, polled 1,711 votes and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, polled 40 votes.
