The former lawmaker who stated that most of the decisions are understandable due to the alleged indecisiveness of the immediate past government, said the country has waited too long, to have a proactive leader, who can tackle the country’s problems, head-on.

Senator Sani who through a Twitter post on Thursday, described the administration of the immediate past president, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (rted.), as a boring, indecisive and visionless one, noting the country is now witnessing a”gradual dismantling of the defective pillars upon which the former president rested” for his 8 years period in office, which he termed as wasted years for the country.

“The excitement is understandable. The nation journeyed through eight years of a boring, indecisive, weak, visionless and outsourced leadership, held captive by a gang.

“The nation waited for long, even for a modest action that never happened.

“We are now apparently witnessing a gradual dismantling of the defective pillars upon which the former president rested and wasted his opportunity and powers, and the time of the country,” Shehu Sani wrote.

It would be recalled that Premium Politics had earlier reported that President Bola Tinubu suspended the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, and the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, Abdul Rasheed Bawa, and these decisions have switched on jubilation across the country.

The duo were being suspended to give room for special and thorough investigations of gross misconduct in their offices.

However, many Nigerians are happy with the development, believing that it ought to have happened before now, considering the weighty allegations against the two public officers.
