Obaseki receives ‘most pension friendly governor award

The Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has been honoured with an award of the ‘Most Pension Friendly Governor in Nigeria.’

The award was presented to Governor Obaseki, by the Nigerian Union of Pensioners.

Disclosing the latest development through a post on his X handle on Thursday, August 24, 2023, Obaseki expressed happiness, for being honoured with such an award.

The governor expressed his appreciation to the Union, noting that he will continue to do all that is within his power, to ensure that the welfare of the retirees and senior citizens in Edo State, remains a top priority of his government.

“I am immensely grateful to the Nigeria Union of Pensioners @NPensioners for honouring me with the ‘Most Pension Friendly Governor in Nigeria,’ award.

“I will continue to do all that is within my power to ensure that the welfare of our retirees and senior citizens in Edo State remains a top priority for the government,” Obaseki tweeted.
