The 2023 Presidential candidates of the Labour Party, Peter Obi and Mr Frank Nweke Jr., former Minister of Information, have tasked Nigerian youths to adopt constructive measures, to realize the Sustainable Development Goals.

Obi and Nweke Jr. advised while speaking during the “Shaping the Future Conference”, organised by the Boys Champion Foundation in Enugu.

According to them, actions taken by the youths now will aid in the actualization and achievement of the United Nations SDGs by 2030.

Speaking during the event, themed: “Accelerating Actions to Achieving Sustainable Development Goals in Nigeria Through Entrepreneurship and Civic Engagement”, Obi expressed the need for the government to take pride in its youths by giving them the essential opportunity to develop.

The former Anambra State Governor also expressed the need by the youths, to stand up and question those who stole their future, adding that few people who held the youths hostage, were successful because the youths pretended that nothing was happening.

He however advised them to hold their leaders accountable, claiming that they continue to steal because youths permit it.
