The Ondo State Deputy Governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, said the All Progressives Congress standard bearer, Bola Tinubu, poses a threat to the opposition parties.

The PUNCH quoted Aiyedatiwa as saying that the APC is ready for victory in the upcoming 2023 general elections.

According to him, Tinubu’s impressive achievements and exemplary leadership will make the party run an effective and impactful message-driven campaign which will lead to victory in the forthcoming elections.

The deputy governor stated this at an APC stakeholders’ meeting held at Igbokoda, the headquarters of Ilaje Local Government on Sunday.

Aiyedatiwa boasted that the party remained the best for the state and the country at large, expressing appreciation to the party members and Ilaje people for their support, particularly to the administration of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.

He said, “We have promised to stand shoulder to shoulder with all our candidates, so to that extent, they can rest assured that we will be together in this race to ensure the success of these efforts.

“For now, there’s no option to victory, we just have to work for victory as the game is on now. Our candidates are ready, they are proven, steadfast, and focused towards successful outings in the 2023 general election.

“We all should hit the road to deliver to our party.”
