Osun gov Adeleke meets Buhari in Abuja

The Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on Friday met the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Speaking with journalists after the visit, Adeleke, stated that the purpose of his visit was to appreciate the President for signing the Electoral Act, which enabled him to be elected as governor.

Adeleke who defeated the candidate of the All Progressives Congress during the 2022 Osun governorship election stated that the President’s action paved the way for a free and fair elections in the state.

He also mentioned that Nigerians and the international world had praised the exercise’s execution.
