Oyekanmi, while assessing the conduct of the electoral body in the just concluded governorship election in Ekiti State, noted that the body is pleased with the results recorded in the just concluded election in Ekiti.

“Our success in Ekiti is a motivation to work harder and we can assure all Nigerians that the coming election in Osun State will be better.”

He commended the members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers for their support in the area of logistics.

He also revealed that unlike in previous elections, the body did not keep its sensitive materials with the Central Bank of Nigeria but with various designated offices under heavy security.

The commission, according to him has improved its engagement with stakeholders, including political parties, security agencies and civil society organisations, among others.
