The Oyo State House of Assembly has asked the chairman, Akinyele Local Government, Mr Taoreed Adedigba to step aside pending an investigation into alleged gross misconduct, d misappropriation of funds.
This followed deliberation on the floor of the house during plenary on Tuesday.
The house however directed his vice to take over the council while the secretary take over LCDA 1 and the assistant secretary to LCDA 2.
The assembly also directed the chairman, Ibadan North Local Government, popularly known as Agba Egbe to step aside.
Agba Egbe was accused of impunity, abuse of office and misappropriation of local government funds.
The house however constituted an adhoc committee headed by Mr Peter Ojedokun to investigate the allegations.
