The primary election for the ticket of the People’s Democratic Party for Ethiope Federal Constituency on Sunday ended in a deadlock between Eriatake Ibori-Suenu and Ben Rollands Igbakpa.
Both Eriatake, daughter of former Governor James Ibori; and Igbakpa polled 34 votes each from delegates of the PDP.
With the tie, a rerun is expected to decide who will fly the flag of the PDP for Ethiope Federal Constituency in the 2023 General Election.
The third aspirant in the contest, Emonefe Ufuoma scored zero votes.
