The Spokesman of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo, has alleged that the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, may be working for his Peoples Democratic Party counterpart, Atiku Abubakar.

Speaking on Arise TV on Tuesday, the Federal Minister of State for Labour and Employment who applauds what Peter Obi is doing said he’s no match for his principal, Bola Tinubu whom he claimed is ahead of the other presidential candidates.

The Senior Advocate of Nigeria also described the former Anambra Governor as a trojan horse for the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, advising his followers that “he would lead them nowhere in 2023.”

He said, “They (the third force) brought colour into the campaign, I must admit, I praise what they are doing, they’ve raised some consciousness among their electorate and all that, but as I said in another programme, outside the South-East, Peter Obi is carpetbagger, and we also suspect he may just be a trojan horse for Atiku Abubakar, and so, we want to warn his supporters that he may be leading them to nowhere.”

Keyamo reiterated that Tinubu is far ahead of the other contenders for the presidency based on the demographic study by the APC and said there won’t be a run-off in the 2023 election, despite the presence of third forces.

“We will not see a run-off, we have done our demography, we are not resting out oars, we are not going to sleep, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is far ahead of the other candidates,” Keyamo said.

According to the APC Spokesman, the major contenders for the 2023 presidential election are Tinubu and Atiku.

However, in a previous interview, Keyamo had said Peter Obi is ahead of Atiku and the latter cannot be trusted because he has not been tested.

Keyamo, further opined that the PDP standard bearer has not held any executive position where he makes the final call, hence he lacks the capacity to make the final decision.
