One half of the Psquare music duo, Peter Okoye, who is also known as Mr. P has commended Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, for endorsing the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
Premium Politics on Sunday reported that Obasanjo through a letter endorsed Obi ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
Obasanjo wrote: “None of the contestants is a saint.
“But when one compares their character, antecedent, their understanding, knowledge, discipline, and vitality that they can bring to bear and the great efforts required to stay focused on the job, particularly looking at where the country is today and with the experience on the job that I personally had, Peter Obi as a mentee has an edge.”
Reacting to the letter, Mr. P, advised Nigerians to read and digest Obasanjo’s New Year Day letter.
“I humbly advise all Nigerian Youth & well-meaning Nigerians to take time to read Former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s Appeal thread on the coming election,” he said.
“He requests for the youths to wake up and take charge.
