Governor of Ekiti State, Abiodun Oyebanji, on Friday, made a surprise visit to the Jara Shopping Mall in Ado-Ekiti, in a gesture that reflects his commitment to community engagement & support for local businesses.

This was disclosed in a press release issued on Saturday by the state government via its X handle.

 

The Jara Shopping Mall, located inside the Obafemi Awolowo Civic and Convention Center, Fajuyi area, of the state capital, Ado Ekiti, welcomed Governor Oyebanji and a delegation of top government officials.

 

The release read, “The occasion of the visit coincided with an event at the Fajuyi Pavilion, where Armoured Personnel Carriers and other operational vehicles and gadgets were presented to the Ekiti State Police Command, which reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to security & law enforcement.

 

“During his visit to the Jara Shopping Mall, Governor Oyebanji not only took some time to explore the diverse range of products available but also displayed his generosity by inviting everyone in his entourage & other shoppers to select an item of their choice from the mall.

 

“This spontaneous act by Governor Oyebanji not only brought smiles to the faces of those present but also reinforced the importance of the collective responsibility of all residents in supporting local #businesses and promoting #economic growth within Ekiti State.”
