Kano Governor, Abba Yusuf Kabir on Sunday, May 4, 2023, visited the pilgrims camp in the state, to inspect the ongoing project at the facility.

The governor who disclosed this through his Twitter handle on Sunday, said he was there alongside his deputy, Comrade Aminu Abdulssalam.

 

According to the governor, who expressed satisfaction with the progress made on the project, his administration is working to restore a conducive atmosphere in the facility, for intending pilgrims, who are going for the 2003 Hajj, from the state.

 

However, he disclosed that a lot of progress has been made in the provision of boreholes, and land recovery, on the facility.

 

“In the early hours of today. The Deputy Governor, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam and I aid another visit to the Kano State Pilgrims Camp.

 

“I’m gladdened to see the progress made in the provision of boreholes, and in land recovery, as we progress towards restoring a conducive atmosphere in the facility for intending pilgrims for this year’s Hajj from Kano. – AKY,” he wrote.
