The governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun has today met with all the elected members of the state house of assembly, and all chairmen of the twenty local governments in the state.
The governor, who made this known through his Twitter handle today, said the first meeting after the election, was to further mutually comprehend the course of his second term in office, as an administrator for cooperative governance across arms.
At the meeting, all the newly elected members of the state house of assembly, had an opportunity to present their certificate of return to the governor, the rear opportunity they have not gotten ever since they collected the certificates from the Independent National Electoral Commision. According to the governor, there was a disclosure that the focus for the next four years would include primarily, public utilities that would be selected by the people themselves.
He further made it known that he donated buses to all the LG chairmen for ease of mobility in their service to the people at the grassroots.
“In our first meeting since the elections, we had a productive time with members-elect of the Ogun State House of Assembly as well as chairmen of the 20 local government areas of the State.
