President Bola Tinubu, has met with the members of the Progressive Governors’ Forum in the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Friday.
In attendance are Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma; Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule; Jigawa Governor, Umar Namadi; Gombe State Governor, Inuwa Yahaya; among others.
At the time of filing this report, the purpose of the meeting is yet to be ascertained.
Premium Politics reported that Tinubu named former speaker of the house of representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila as his chief of staff.
He also named George Akume, as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, while one-time deputy governor of Jigawa State, Sen. Ibrahim Hadejia, was also appointed as deputy chief of staff.
