The operatives of the Philippines police have arrested three suspected while also killing one suspect in connection to the central Philippine provincial governor, Gov. Roel Degamo.
Washington Post, reported that Degamo, was killed on Saturday by gunmen who stormed his residence with deadly weapons.
Degamo was said to have been interacting with villagers and other commoners who needed assistance when he was killed.
The incident was said to have resulted in the death of several members of the community who was at the scene at the moment of the incident.
According to the police, an immediate police check point was set up after the incident and this led to the arrest of three suspects, including two former army soldiers, while one suspect was also killed during the clash.
