A former lawmaker, who represented Kaduna South at the Senate, Senator Shehu Sani, has berated the administration of the President of Nigeria, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), over the high level of insecurity in the country.

In a tweet via his official Twitter, account on Saturday, Shehu narrated how someone called to inform him about the abduction of a traditional ruler, and other members of his house from their residence.

In reference to the inability of the present administration to tackle insecurity, he stated that he told the person to be patient and endure the remaining days of the administration, noting that the leaders have ran out of ideas.

“Someone called me and informed me that Bandits invaded the house of a Traditional ruler in Southern Kaduna and abducted 9 people.

“My response to him was that they should be patient and endure the remaining days of this administration. The leaders are bankrupt of new ideas. They came, they saw, they failed and they are going,” he tweeted.

It would be recalled that the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Femi Adesina said no matter what people say, Buhari will be leaving Nigeria better than he met the country in 2015.

“Buhari is leaving the country far better and I said it from the beginning in 2015 we knew where Nigeria was,” he said while appearing on Channels on the 10th of April, 2023.
