Popular Nigerian entertainer and social activist, Charles Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy has bemoaned over the present situation in the country, following the hike in fuel prices on Tuesday.

Charly Boy who made the complaints through his Twitter handle, asked what could be more chaotic than what is happening in the country, currently.

It would be recalled that the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited had on Tuesday, announced a new fuel price which took the price up from N539 to N617, making it the second time to be increased by President Tinubu this year.

The President had on May 29, his inauguration day, removed the fuel subsidy, which first jacked the price up to N539 from N150.

Meanwhile, the Tinubu administration had promised to be paying N8,000 per month, to some poor Nigerian households every month, to cushion the effects of the subsidy removal, the promise which has not come to a manifestation.

Reacting to the new development through a post on his Twitter handle, Charly Boy claimed that the present administration of President Tinubu who took over from his predecessor, former President Muhammadu Buhari in less than three months, is worse than Buhari’s administration.

However, he called on the Nigerian youths, asking what could be done if Tinubu, whose election victory is being challenged at the Election Petition Tribunal, is affirmed as the President.

“Which Chaos worst pass dis Shege Banza we dey see now.

“Exceptional Nigerian Youths, Obidients and Lovers of a New Nigeria,

“What do we do if Judiciary fuck up?

“Bcos satin wey worst pass Buhari don come,” he wrote.
