The President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday moved to the Nigeria Defence House, Mataima District, Abuja.

Tinubu, who contested the last presidential election, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, was declared the President-elect, after defeating his major contenders, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, and the candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, in the well-contested election.

Meanwhile, Tinubu, who has been on vacation in France, shortly after winning the election, made his return back to the country, on Monday, April 24, 2023, after a month of rest in Paris, for the rigorous campaign activities, and in preparation for his inauguration, as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on May 29, 2023.

Following his return to the country, the President-elect, has returned to the defence house, where he will be staying, pending his inauguration, on May 29.
